Biorepository Shared Resource

The UTHSC Biorepository collects, processes, archives, and distributes human tissue for research use. The Biorepository will provide tissues, some clinical data, and assistance in study design for research project at UTHSC or in collaboration with UTHSC researchers. The biorepository is a UTHSC IRB approved entity with control of over 500,000 cases representing multiple tissues within each case (patient). IRBs are in place. Clinical data from the electronic medical record regarding clinical diagnosis, procedures, treatments, and co-morbidities is possible to be obtained.
