Donate to the Department of Psychiatry

There is a vast need for increased psychiatric and mental health research, education, and patient care in Memphis, Shelby County, the Mid-South, and the state of Tennessee. Need is particularly urgent for problems of addiction, depression and suicide, trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Alzheimer’s Disease and other types of dementia, and all forms of chronic mental illness.

Philanthropic support is vital to addressing these challenges.  Your gifts to the UTHSC Department of Psychiatry provide critical help to those in need, while advancing our mission of public service.  Gifts to the department from supporters like you - alumni, patients, generous friends, corporations, and foundations - are critical to improving psychiatric and mental health through the department’s missions in research, education, and patient care. Every gift makes a difference, and we can work with you to amplify your impact.

If you have questions or wish to speak with someone about a named gift or a bequest, please contact Kelly Davis, Senior Director of Development in the College of Medicine at 901.448.4949 or kdavis@uthsc.edu.
