Dental Hygiene Traditional

The Traditional Dental Hygiene Pathway is designed for students who are beginning their professional education in dental hygiene. This pathway provides a strong foundation in oral health sciences, patient care, clinical practice, and professional development.

Students complete a structured curriculum that combines classroom instruction, laboratory experiences, and supervised clinical care. Throughout the program, students develop the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to provide preventive oral health services, educate patients, collaborate with dental professionals, and serve diverse communities.

RDH to BSDH

The RDH-to-BSDH Pathway is designed for licensed dental hygienists who have already completed an associate degree in dental hygiene and are ready to advance their education. This flexible completion pathway allows practicing hygienists to build on their existing clinical knowledge while earning a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.

The curriculum focuses on expanded professional roles, including leadership, education, community oral health, research, communication, and evidence-based practice. Students are encouraged to consider how their degree can support career opportunities beyond traditional clinical practice.
