Update on Administrative Access for New Computers

Newly deployed computers will no longer include automatic admin rights. Most day‑to‑day tasks (Microsoft 365, web apps, Blackboard, DASH, etc.) will work as usual, but some actions—like installing software or changing system settings—may require approval. If you need elevated access, you can request an exception, and ITS will work with you to ensure you have what you need.

TechTriage is a new IT chatbot available in TechConnect that can answer common questions, help with basic troubleshooting, and guide you to the right IT resources.
