Legacy Logos

The legacy logo uses the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, but it is preferred that we refer to ourselves as the University of Tennessee Health Sciences and that we use the primary logo. When possible use the primary logo for communications and branded materials.

We recognize that several communications and branded materials still make use of the legacy logo, which is acceptable. The legacy logo and legacy green are still valid for branding purposes. Materials that have already been designed with the legacy logo may still be used, though in the future, we will gradually replace the legacy logo with the primary logo in these materials.

Only approved color variations may be used for the legacy logo. The color choices that we have available are helpful for dark backgrounds or when only a single color can be used.

One-Color

The legacy logo is available in black and orange as a one-color variation. You may sometimes be limited to a one-color imprint on merchandise, limitations in budget, or limited production capabilities. In these instances you may choose to use Tennessee Orange or Black on a light background.

 

Reversed

When using the legacy logos on dark backgrounds we have two variations, Tennessee Orange and white or only white.
