Product Management

BPS product management consists of OnBase and Blackboard.

The BPS Product Management team was designed to:

  • Provide a holistic approach to managing the technology of UTHSC’s tools to:
    • Move towards SaaS/PaaS to align with Cloud business strategy
    • Ensure current versions are installed in a timely manner
    • Ensure authentication methods meet standards
    • Ensure updates, backups, disaster recovery, etc. are being performed
    • Ensure contract supports all technical needs
    • Monitor vendor Service Level Agreement (SLAs)
  • Participate in the full product life cycle, from acquisition to retirement, by:
    • Partnering with Campus Customer and Procurement/Contracts to ensure vendor agreements include all technology elements and meet UTHSC ITS standards
    • Collaborating with Campus Customers and vendors to remedy gaps
  • Support the functional teams, so they can use their software in a safe and secure manner, all while protecting UTHSC data, systems and network
