OAC COVID-19 Resources

The Office of Access and Compliance is Open and Available to Assist.

You can reach us by telephone call, or we can set up a meeting via Zoom. We are here to help.

With the current transition of all courses moving online due to COVID-19, we know many of you may feel more disconnected. University resources and supports are available..

While our office is open and ready to help remotely, there are also additional federal and state resources available. You are not alone. 

National Resources

National Domestic Violence Hotline: Available to callers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide services in more than 170 languages. Hotline advocates answer questions, provide safety planning and information as well as directly connect callers to domestic violence resources available in their local calling area. All calls to the hotline are confidential and anonymous 1.800.799.SAFE (7233), or 1.800.787.3224 (TTY).

Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN): The nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline 800.656.HOPE (4673)

Victims Connect Resource Center: A referral helpline where crime victims can learn about their rights and options confidentially and compassionately. A program of the National Center for Victims of Crime.

Tennessee Resources

Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence: As a statewide organization, the Coalition provides the following. To request services call 800.298.9018.

  • Survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault
  • Domestic violence and sexual assault programs
  • Community groups and organizations
  • Criminal justice agencies
  • Allied professionals (medical, legal, mental health, etc.)
  • Individuals seeking information and resources
  • Immigrant victims of domestic violence, stalking or trafficking
