Mark A. Brzezienski, MS, MD, FACS

Mark A. Brzezienski, MD, FACS joined the Plastic Surgery Group and Hayes Hand Center in August 1995. Dr. Brzezienski is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He also holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand through the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is the Chairman, Program Director and a Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery and an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. Dr. Brzezienski trains resident physicians pursuing the specialties of both plastic and reconstructive surgery and orthopaedic surgery.
Dr. Brzezienski’s plastic surgery practice encompasses a special interest in breast reconstruction following mastectomy as well as aesthetic procedures of the breast. He also has an extensive practice in aesthetic procedures of the face and all aspects of body contouring.
Additionally, he treats a wide variety of hand problems through Hayes Hand Center. His Orthopaedic Hand Surgery fellowship and experience allow him to provide comprehensive care in this specialized area.
Dr. Brzezienski is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed General Surgery training at the University of Connecticut and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. He completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery at the Philadelphia Hand Center of Thomas Jefferson University.
He is an active member of The Chattanooga and Hamilton County Medical Society having served as President, Chairman of the Legislative Committee, President of the Medical Foundation and Vice Chairman of IMPACT, a political action committee for medicine. He is the youngest physician to receive the Distinguished Service Award for his development and sustenance of the Medical Youth Leadership Forum. In addition, Dr. Brzezienski is a member of numerous national medical professional societies, serves on a number of committees, is a published author in scientific journals and lectures frequently on a wide variety of subjects within his field of specialty.
Dr. Brzezienski and his wife, Jayne, reside in Chattanooga and have two daughters, Isabella and Alexandra.
Jimmy L. Waldrop, MD, FACS

Jimmy L. Waldrop, MD, FACS, is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Surgery. Dr. Waldrop is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following medical school, he completed General Surgery residency and a Surgical Critical Care/Trauma fellowship at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. He subsequently completed a comprehensive Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency also at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. After completion of surgical training, he joined the Plastic Surgery Group. He is Director of Research and Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga and is actively involved in the training of plastic surgery residents.
Dr. Waldrop’s practice includes cosmetic surgery of the breast, abdomen, and face. Specifically, breast augmentation, lift, and reduction, tummy tuck, liposuction, face lift, eyelid surgery, and rhinoplasty. In addition to cosmetic surgery, he also performs migraine headache surgery, complex reconstructive surgery and microsurgery. This includes reconstruction of the face, head/neck, breast, trunk, abdomen, or extremities after cancer surgery and trauma. He also has special interest in treatment of facial and mandible fractures and skin cancer. He is fully trained in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Waldrop is the first and only surgeon in the Chattanooga area to perform a revolutionary migraine surgery procedure that provides long-term migraine headache relief.
Dr. Waldrop resides on Signal Mountain with his wife and daughter. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, wake boarding, rock climbing, and hunting.
D. Marshall Jemison, MD

Marshall Jemison, MD is a native of Memphis, Tennessee, and graduated with honors from Washington and Lee University. He subsequently completed his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga at Erlanger.
Dr. Jemison’s training then included a one-year fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand Center, one of the world’s leading centers in providing additional training for Orthopedic Surgeons specializing in hand and upper extremity care. His training also included a fellowship in hand trauma management in Switzerland with the AO Group.
Dr. Jemison joined Hayes Hand Center in 1990 and is Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has also received the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand along with other regional and national medical professional societies. He is an active faculty member in the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and of Plastic Surgery at the University Of Tennessee College Of Medicine.
His special interests include hand and upper extremity trauma and its reconstruction, arthritis, surgery, nerve surgery and problems, and injuries of the wrist and elbow.
Jason P. Rehm, MD, FACS

Jason P. Rehm, MD, FACS, is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Rehm joined the Plastic Surgery Group, Chattanooga’s first and largest plastic surgery practice, in August 2004. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery as well as a faculty member in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. In addition, Dr. Rehm is Associate Program Director for the Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program and trains resident physicians pursuing the specialties of both plastic and orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Rehm’s plastic surgery practice encompasses both a special interest in cosmetic procedures of the breast and abdomen, reconstructive procedures following traumatic injuries and cancer surgery involving the breast or face. He is trained in all aspects of plastic surgery of the face and body.
In addition, Dr. Rehm cares for a wide variety of hand and wrist related problems through Hayes Hand Center. His orthopedic Hand Surgery training and microsurgical experience allow him to provide comprehensive care of patients with devastating traumatic injuries, repetitive use problems, and arthritis.
Dr. Rehm is a graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He completed General Surgery training at The University of Nebraska in Omaha and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. After completing his Plastic Surgery residency in June 2003, he completed a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at The University of Mississippi in Jackson in July 2004. Dr. Rehm is an active member of the local Chattanooga and Hamilton County Medical Society as well as numerous national societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Todd Thurston, MD, MSM

Todd E. Thurston, MS MD is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Thurston is a graduate of the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine. While there, he was one of the co-founders of the Equal Access Clinic which provides indigent care for the Birmingham area. He then proceeded to the University of Kansas Medical Center where he completed an integrated plastic and reconstructive plastic surgery residency. He subsequently completed a craniomaxillofacial fellowship at The University of Michigan. After completion of his training, Dr. Thurston joined The Plastic Surgery Group. Dr. Thurston is the Director of Pediatric Plastic Surgery for Erlanger Children’s Hospital and serves as the region’s only craniofacial surgeon.
Dr. Thurston’s practice includes cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. Additionally, he has a special interest in the care of children with cleft and craniomaxillofacial anomalies as well as interests in research and quality improvement initiatives to ensure that patients receive the most appropriate, affordable and highest quality medical care available.
Dr. Thurston is a member of multiple medical professional societies including The American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is published in multiple peer-reviewed medical journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Laryngoscope and the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery.
Dr. Thurston lives on Signal Mountain with his wife Ashley and their children. He enjoys time with his family, sailing, mountain biking and photography.

The multidisciplinary Cleft team is an ACPA Approved Team and has met the Standards of Team Care for Cleft and Craniofacial Teams set by the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA). The ACPA Commission on the Approval of Teams has determined that the Erlanger Cleft and Craniofacial Center is capable of providing cleft and craniofacial care in a coordinated and consistent manner, that care provided by the Erlanger Cleft and Craniofacial Center follows the proper sequence and takes place within the framework of the patient’s overall developmental, medical and psychological needs. "Nico" Domingo, MD

Fernando Enrico Eugenio Domingo, MD, or Dr. Nico Domingo as he prefers, was born in the Philippines. He immigrated to the US at the age of two and was raised in Kentucky. He proudly attended the University of Kentucky, graduating summa cum laude. Coming from a family of physicians, he then attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, finishing in the top third of his class.
With the goal to be the first surgeon in his family, he completed both his General Surgery Residency and Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga, where he is now a Faculty Member for the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Domingo is currently Board Eligible under the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
As Chattanooga’s newest plastic surgeon, Dr. Domingo’s practice encompasses a special interest in all aesthetic procedures of the face, breast, and body: specifically, breast augmentation, lift, and reduction, contouring procedures of the arms and thighs, tummy tuck, liposuction, facelift, eyelid surgery, and rhinoplasty. Dr. Domingo is also devoted to non-invasive aesthetic procedures including laser and facial treatments in addition to Botox and filler injectables. He is trained in all aspects of plastic surgery of the face and body.
Dr. Domingo lives in the Southside of Downtown Chattanooga where he keeps an active social role in the community. He enjoys exploring local restaurants, relishing in local art and live music, spending quality time with his friends and family, as well as traveling in and out of the country. He maintains a Silver Membership to the Chairman’s Circle of the Hunter Museum of American Art in Chattanooga and was selected as part of the Membership Committee to the newly established Common House Chattanooga for his significant outreach.
Brandon Boyd, MD

Brandon Boyd, MD was born and raised in Morristown, TN. He graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville summa cum laude. He subsequently completed medical school training from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Following medical school, he completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga at Erlanger. He continued his training for a one-year fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center in Philadelphia, PA. He is currently a clinical instructor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and of Plastic Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. His special interests include hand and upper extremity trauma, arthritis of the wrist and hand, nerve compression and nerve injuries, as well as arthroscopy of the wrist and hand. Dr. Boyd enjoys aviation, running, and Tennessee football.
Charlie Rodriguez-Feo, MD

Dr. Rodriguez-Feo joined the group in August 2022. He is a clinical instructor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. Dr. Rodriguez-Feo enjoys training resident physicians pursuing both plastic/reconstructive surgery and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Rodriguez-Feo has completed both an orthopedic-based fellowship and plastic surgery training in the hand, wrist, and forearm. He manages conditions from minor to major, from chronic conditions to acute trauma, incorporating new technology such as the endoscopic carpal tunnel release. Dr. Rodriguez-Feo works closely with local hand therapists to ensure an optimal outcome for each patient. Dr. Rodriguez-Feo grew up on the Gulf coast of Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama summa cum laude in 2011 with a major in Microbiology and a minor in Mathematics. He then attended the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN and graduated in 2015 with the high distinction of AOA (Alpha Omega Alpha). He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Washington in Seattle in 2021 and his orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2022. Dr. Rodriguez-Feo enjoys woodworking, ceramics, fishing, hunting, and gardening.
