UT Health Science Center subscribes to a number of services that provide free, high quality teaching and learning resources to instructors.

Educause Learning Initiative

Through the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI): Teaching and Learning, you can find the tools, resources, and peer connections you need to advance learning through the innovative application of technology across your campus.

Go to Educause.edu and select the Login button. Be sure to use your UT Health Science Center email address.


 

Magna Publications

UT Health Science Center subscribes to “20 Minute Mentor”, a series of short videos related to effective teaching and learning. Anyone with an @uthsc.edu email address can subscribe for free.

To register and log in to access the group subscription:

  1. Go to Magna Publications Registration page. Enter information in the required fields > Submit. NOTE: if you get an error that your password does not match, skip down to the EXISTING USERS Section below
  2. Once successfully registered, you will see a screen "Thank you for completing your registration"
  3. Go to Magna Publications group registration page
  4. On the right side of the page, in the "Username or email address" box, enter the email address that you submitted in Step 1.
  5. Enter your password > Login
  6. On the My Account page > Join Team
  7. On the My Online Access page click the appropriate orange "Go to..." box for access

Quality Matters

Quality Matters (QM) is geared towards those who teach online, either synchronously or asynchronously. This web site has resources provided at no cost to instructors who register with their @uthsc.edu email address. It includes workshops, documents, and rubrics to use in developing and running an online course.

You can register or sign-in at Quality Matters. Be sure to use your UTHSC email address.


 

Cooperative for Educational Technologies

WCET brings together colleges and universities, higher education organizations, and companies to collectively improve the quality and reach of digital learning.
