I was born in Germany and grew up in central Illinois. I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Illinois, then moved down to Tennessee. I completed the medical scientist training program at Vanderbilt University, where I already fell in love with Pediatric hospitalist medicine. This interest continued through my residency training at UTHSC in Chattanooga. I am happy to continue in the UT family now at Memphis to complete my training. I have a passion for medical education and investigation. I met my husband during residency, and we married right before our move to Memphis with our cat Sep. We are enjoying getting to know Memphis and all it has to offer!
