Mr. Wes Williamson joined the College of Health Professions in 2012 as faculty member in the Medical Laboratory Science program. He earned his Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2009, and he is currently a doctoral candidate at East Tennessee State University for an Educational Doctorate (EdD). Mr. Williamson elected president to the Tennessee Chapter of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS-TN) in 2011 to serve a one year term. Mr. Williamson’s primary teaching responsibilities include blood bank and clinical immunology. His primary clinical expertise is in immunohematology and transfusion services. Mr. Williamson serves as the admissions chairman for the Medical Laboratory Science program and focuses on strategies for student success.
