Frequently Asked Questions about Headshots

Where is the photo taken?
Faculty and Staff headshots are taken in the Office Communications and Marketing located in the Mooney Building (875 Monroe Avenue, First Floor.)
When can I have a headshot taken?
Reservations can be made via Appointlet. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
Will I receive a copy of the photo?

We will email you with a copy of your headshot within 10 business days after the shoot.

Where will I receive my photo?
Headshots will be sent to the email address provided on your reservation.
Can you Photoshop my picture?
Due to the large volume of photos, we do not do extensive retouching. Every headshot does get a softening filter, color correction, and cropping.
What should I wear for my headshot?

For better headshot, dress in layers with colors that contrast with each other (i.e.: Black and White). Avoid clothing with gray color, or two pieces of clothing that are the same color (i.e: Black shirt with Black Tie). Make sure your clothes are wrinkle free and lint free for better viewing experience. The studio does not provide lint roller, or irons.

If you are unsatisfied with your outfit after the headshot, you will need to reschedule for another shoot.

  • Men should wear a collared, button-down or polo-style shirt.
  • Any blouse worn should have sleeves.
