Why I Chose OB/GYN: For me, gynecology and obstetrics is an undeniable calling. I have always been passionate about women’s advocacy, loving to learn and teach others, and that has translated easily into caring for our patients throughout their time with us. In my opinion, OB/GYN is the best specialty because we are able to combine and perfect our technical skills in the operating room with the art of medicine in our continuity of care and preventative medicine in a way that other specialties are not. 

Why I Chose Chattanooga: I knew this residency would make me the best version of myself and provide the greatest opportunities for furthering my education and career. There is so much to experience in Chattanooga and, because the residents at this hospital are sincerely passionate about medicine as well as encouraging each other, we are always experiencing those things together.

OBGYN Areas of Interest: Urogynecology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

Hobbies: Absolutely anything outside, especially by the water! I love spending time with friends and family during my free time or exploring all the great places Chattanooga has to offer. But there is nothing better than a good book with a great view.
