Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

Comprehensive 2-Year Fellowship
1 Trainee

The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (CCEP) Fellowship program's mission is  to develop clinical, research, and educational leaders in the field of cardiac electrophysiology.

Our program aims to provide fellows with the knowledge and skills requisite for delivering outstanding clinical care and the performance of advanced electrophysiologic procedures. We provide our fellows with state-of-the-art training in all aspects of heart rhythm management.

Our 2 year ACGME-accredited program is designed to meet all of the requirements for board eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and provides level 3 COCATS training in clinical electrophysiology, ablation and device implantation and follow-up.  This training includes evaluation, management and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias including diagnostic electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation (radiofrequency and cryoablation) and training in the implantation and management of cardiac devices including pacemakers, implantable cardiac defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization devices and implantable loop recorders. Fellows will also receive training in laser lead extraction, leadless pacemaker implantation, His bundle pacing, and Watchman device implantation.
