Research and Quality Improvement

Fellows are expected to complete a minimum of six months of research.  The program provides six months of protected time for trainees to conduct clinical or basic science research.  Fellows will choose a faculty mentor early in their first year in the area of research they wish to pursue.  Fellows are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts for national meetings and papers for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
