Coronavirus Disease Information and Resources
As Tennessee’s public academic medical institution, the College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is committed to providing information to the communities we serve about important topics such as the emergence of the novel coronavirus (SARS CoV-2) and the disease it is causing (COVID-19).
Of note, there is much that we do not know about the novel coronavirus yet, so any information or advice offered here is based on the best available information and will be updated frequently as more information becomes available. In many cases, the best information or advice we can provide has to be based on expert knowledge of similar respiratory viruses and the infections they cause. There are many good sources of information that are linked on our resources page, which is updated frequently and will give recommendations that change over time as we learn more. We have also created a version of the website in Spanish. Our public testing site is now open at the Mid-South Fairgrounds by appointment. You can visit the UCH COVID-19 Triage Questionnaire to get an assessment and appointment if you are showing symptoms.
