At 10:00 a.m. on August 25, 2011, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) dedicated its new 183,857-square-foot College of Pharmacy building on the UT-Baptist Research Park in the Memphis Medical Center.

Wei Li, PhD, Associate Professor and Director of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility at UTHSC, was recently awarded two NIH grants and a UT Research Foundation grant totaling $1.8 million.

On June 28, 2010, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded the UTHSC College of Pharmacy $3.36 million over three years to fund the College's Minority Center of Excellence.

The UT APhA Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) won the award for Chapter Achievement in Division A at the 2011 APhA Meeting in Seattle, WA. Divisions are determined by the total enrollment of the college. Full Story »
