To become an applicant to the UTHSC, you must select The University of Tennessee Health Science Center as part of your application process.

Admission to a UTHSC program through a centralized application service includes two components:

1. Web-based, centralized application component
   • Complete the centralized application (i.e., AMCAS, etc.) as instructed.
   • During this part of the process, you will be asked to provide all the information and documentation required for your review and (hopefully) acceptance into the program of your choice.
2. After acceptance, packet component
   • Once you have been accepted by the program of your choice, you must provide additional information and documentation required by the UTHSC for admission.
   • We refer to this part of the process as the "packet component" since all the materials are to be submitted in a single envelope or "packet".
   • The packet component includes official transcripts from all the schools you have attended since high school, including grades in all the classes required by the program to which you have been accepted, as well as other materials required by your program (e.g., professional licenses, certifications, etc.).
   • The first page in the packet should be a completed Application Packet CHECKLIST.
   • The packet component should be submitted in one envelope to:

• The packet component is an essential part of your UTHSC application, without which your application will not be reviewed.
• The packet is intended to include all supporting documentation that cannot be submitted electronically.
