Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Family Medicine is seeking a full-time Addiction Specialist non-tenure track faculty member (academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience) for the Center for Addiction Sciences in Memphis, TN.

Qualified applicant should be board certified and have an active DEA and x-number; ASAM/ASAM highly desirable. Clinical responsibilities will include the following: Plan and organize medical and clinical practices at the clinic; Perform history and physical exams for patients; Review treatment plans and discuss cases with treatment teams; Assess co-existing medical and psychiatric disorders; Provide comprehensive care to patients by formulating and prescribing treatment and medications; Oversee prescribing administration of medications for the treatment of addiction.

Academic responsibilities will include the following: Teaching and supervision of fellows, residents, and students; Curriculum development; Clinical research opportunities.
