Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Medicine, and UT Methodist Physicians seek a Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine. This is a full-time, tenure track position. The successful candidate will be an experienced, board-certified, nationally-recognized cardiovascular leader in clinical and academic heart failure who is eligible for appointment as a Professor of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have the significant vision, leadership skills and collegiality necessary to build and develop a clinical program in advanced clinical heart failure, that synergize with existing strengths in funded research programs on the UTHSC campus and within the Pediatric Cardiovascular Center. The successful candidate will also have significant and continuing record of research achievement. Demonstrated skills in mentoring and education are required.
