Description: The Department of Medicine at the Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a dynamic clinician researcher with excellent clinical, educational, leadership, and communication skills to lead a well-established Division of Hematology/Oncology and be a distinguished leader within the Cancer Center at UT Medical Center.

The successful applicant will provide strategic direction in establishing an ACGME-accredited medical oncology fellowship and in developing a flourishing clinical education and research program to advance the tripartite healing, education, and discovery mission of the UT Medical Center. The position offers a balance of clinical, administrative, research and scholarly activities.

Qualified applicants must possess an MD or MD/PhD degree or equivalent with current ABIM board certification in hematology and/or oncology and have at least 5 years of post-fellowship experience with an illustrious track record of patient care, research, educational, and academic accomplishments in addition to strong administration and leadership abilities that will support appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.

The academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidates' qualifications and clinical experience. Applicants must also be eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee.
