William Pulsinelli, PhD, MD
Course Director, Neurosciences
A native of Washington, NJ, Dr. Pulsinelli received a BS degree from Villanova University and the PhD and MD degrees from the University of Utah. He completed a medical internship and neurology resident training at the New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical College. He was promoted through the ranks to a Tenured Professor at Cornell University Medical College and the Director of Cerebrovascular Disease Research at the New York Hospital.
He became the Semmes-Murphey Professor and Chair, Department of Neurology, at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1992.
