H1N1 Influenza Vaccine

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, University Health Services (UHS) has some H1N1 vaccine left and can be administered to all UTHSC students, faculty, staff, residents, post-docs, and their family members at no charge. Come to UHS between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. - no appointment necessary.

Swine Flu

Any person with a temperature greater than 100.5, and a cough, sore throat, muscle aches, possibly vomiting and diarrhea should call University Health Services at 448-5630 or call your private health care provider to make an appointment for evaluation. Click here for more information.

 

AAAHC Accreditation

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) has awarded University of Tennessee Health Science Center University Health Services an initial three-year term of accreditation (2008-2011). Click here for more information.

Massage Services

A Concorde massage therapy student, is available to give massages to UTHSC students, UTHSC staff and Baptist students at no charge if the recipient is willing to complete an on-line evaluation survey after the massage. Click here for more information.

UTHSC Behavioral Health Services for Students and Residents

UTHSC students and graduate medical residents (GME) can receive face-to-face counseling for issues such as stress, emotional, financial, legal, and relationship problems, sexual orientation, alcohol and substance abuse. Click here for more information.
