University of Tennessee Helping Students with Computing
A common complaint across all UT campuses, and reflected in recent Campus Computing data, is that users do not feel comfortable with some of the technology used in courses. This lack of comfort affects learning in the initial stages of a program because rather than focusing on the content of the course, learners are focused on getting the technology to work for them. We hope that this technology orientation module will help to ensure that precious classroom hours are devoted to the substance of the courses and not the machinations of the technology.
Funded in part by a Project SET grant, distributed by the Educational Technology Collaborative at the University of Tennessee, this site has been developed to answer the ever-growing technology learning needs of faculty and students.
