Requests for Reallocation of Funds

Any reallocation of funds on a project for which specific line items are budgeted requires approval from the Office of Finance and Operations (Sponsored Projects).   Forms for this purpose are available from departmental business managers.

Certain reallocation requests on grants may require prior approval from the funding agency.  If there are any questions about reallocation of funds on a sponsored project, PIs should check with their departmental business managers or the Office of Finance and Operations (Sponsored Projects).
