National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)

The Office of Equity and Diversity and the ADA Advisory Committee, would like acknowledge that UTHSC takes pride in fostering equal access and fair opportunity in the workforce, by capitalizing on the talent, skills, and rich diversity of all of employees. Therefore, we would like to recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) by bringing disability awareness to the UTHSC campus.

What is NDEAM?

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is recognized nationwide each October, by the U.S. Department of Labor. This has been accomplished, by assisting employer and advocacy groups, to plan events that educate the public and highlight the skilled abilities of job seekers and working Americans who have disabilities.
