Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery

Female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery/urogynecology focuses on disorders of the pelvic floor. Common pelvic floor disorders include urinary leakage, overactive bladder, prolapse of descent of pelvic organs from their normal anatomic position, painful bladder syndrome and leakage of stool.

This new division, located in two locations: 880 Madison Ave., and 6555 Quince, offers a full-range of diagnostic and management services. Evaluation, surgical and non-surgical treatments include:

  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Overactive bladder
  • Stress urinary incontinence
  • Urgency urinary incontinence
  • Recurrent urinary tract infections
  • Interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome
  • Pelvic pain
  • Fecal incontinence
  • Other disorders
