G. Stephen Nace, M.D., FACP
Assistant Dean of Curriculum Integration
Dr. Nace received his B.A. from Emory University. He received an M.D. from Vanderbilt, where he also completed an internal medicine residency and fellowships in nephrology and clinical pharmacology. He has practiced as both a general internist and subspecialist in private and academic practice. He is a former internal medicine residency program director.
Dr. Naces role is to direct curricular integration of the basic and clinical sciences in order to facilitate students understanding, retention, and application of facts and principles to clinical practice. As such, he collaborates closely with the Assistant Deans and faculty for the basic science and clinical curricula, respectively.
Clinical and research interests include hospital medicine, clinical informatics, practice-based learning, and systems-based practice.
