William P. Metheny, PhD

Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical and Dental Education

Dr. Metheny works directly with Dr. Eddie Moore, Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education, to achieve our educational goals. Dr. Metheny has worked extensively with residents and medical students at Brown University Medical School.  He is well published in the field of medical education and is nationally recognized for his efforts including contributions to professional organizations.

Dr. Metheny’s faculty appointment is in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Metheny joined the Graduate School of Medicine in 2007.
