Tim Jancelewicz, MD, has been an assistant professor of surgery and pediatrics at UTHSC since 2013, with privileges to practice at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Tennessee (2016) and a Master of English from the University of Toronto (1999). His research involves surgical outcomes and database analysis, with a focus on congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). His clinical interests include prenatal and neonatal surgical conditions, fetal surgery, minimally invasive and robotic surgery and bariatric surgery.

Dr. Jancelewicz’s research focuses on outcomes, risk modeling and database analysis in congenital and pediatric surgical diseases, with a particular focus on congenital diaphragmatic hernia, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and fetal intervention. He holds a master's in epidemiology from the University of Tennessee.
