Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures
There are frequent reports of UTHSC research personnel exiting animal facilities while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, gowns, shoe covers, etc. As a reminder, PPE that has been worn in an animal facility must not be worn in public areas such as elevators and corridors. Please see the attached memo regarding proper use of PPE and ensure that all research personnel that you are responsible for read and understand this guideline.
