The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, which is the national agency that accredits professional degree programs in pharmacy and providers of continuing pharmacy education.

ASHP Residency Match Success Rate

For PGY1 residencies, UT was in the top 3% of all colleges in the nation for number of students who initially matched, with 58 graduates matching across the country. Only 3 colleges of pharmacy in the nation produced more PGY1 residents this year, and only 2 of those had a higher match percentage rate than UT’s 71% matched. Final data show that 65 UT graduates, 37% of the class, will be completing a residency or fellowship training next year. For PGY2 residencies, UT had a 93% match rate, with 14 residents matching. Only 2 other colleges of pharmacy in the U.S. had more PGY2 residents match, but only 1 of those colleges had a higher percentage of matched PGY2 residents.
