Teaching Opportunities

The Fellows functions on service with the Post-Graduate Year (PGY) 1, 2, 4 residents rotating on service. The Fellow takes the residents through resident level cases and assists with teaching the nuances of consults and clinical management. The teaching component hones the Fellows understanding of pathology and surgical technique and provides leadership growth. 

The Fellow also has the opportunity to teach University of Tennessee Medical Students and Acting Intern Students rotating from other institutions.
