The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program in the College of Nursing is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. The Tennessee Board of Nursing granted the College of Nursing initial approval to reactivate the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program November 30, 2012 with students enrolling Fall 2013 in the BSN program.

The Doctor of Nursing Practice program (DNP) in the College of Nursing is currently accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through 2014. The College of Nursing DNP program is currently undergoing self-evaluation for reaccreditation and has submitted a self-study document to CCNE in December 2013; the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education is scheduled to conduct an on-site evaluation for the DNP program on February 3-5, 2014.
CCNE provides opportunity for program constituents to submit, in writing, comments regarding an educational programís qualifications for accreditation status.
