Description: The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is inviting applications for a clinically-focused, academically-oriented Pathologist. The Department is rapidly growing and consists of divisions of Anatomic, Clinical, Translational and Experimental Pathology.

The Pathology Department, with its more than 80 primary and affiliated faculty, serve multiple institutions, including Methodist University Hospital, Le Bonheur Children?s Hospital, Regional One Medical Center and the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital. There is an active residency program in which residents have an opportunity to partake in clinical service, handling almost 200,000 cases.

Academic rank at the time of appointment shall be commensurate with qualifications and experience. At least 1-3 years of experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be employed through a UTHSC-approved practice plan.
