Description: The College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) seeks a diverse pool of nominees and applicants for the position of Professor. This is a full-time, tenure track faculty appointment in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, located on the main campus of the Health Science Center in Memphis, TN.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must:
1. Possess an M.D. degree or equivalent;
2. Have completed a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology;
3. Demonstrate national recognition and extensive publications in urologic disease, with a focus in prostate cancer, and qualify for the rank of full Professor;
4. A history of federal research funding and participation in cooperative groups clinical trials;
5. Demonstrated service at the national level in appropriate societies and journals;
6. Have extensive (> 10 years) leadership experience in an academic environment.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
