Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Surgery in Memphis is recruiting a Board eligible/Board certified Thoracic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (rank will be commensurate with experience and credentials) for a full-time, tenure track position. We are seeking a surgeon with a commitment to providing quality clinical care, teaching, and research. This position is 100% non-cardiac thoracic surgery in a rapidly growing division. The successful candidate will be well versed in minimally invasive technique for the treatment of malignant and benign diseases of the lungs, esophagus, pleura, and mediastinum. Training in robotic surgery is a plus but not required. The University of Tennessee provides a compensation package which includes a competitive salary, and fringe benefits.
