Managing Installations

Install Office 365 Software (PC and Mac)

NOTE: You are allowed up to 5 active installations.

  1. Go to portal.office.com and sign in with your UTHSC email and password.

  2. The page will default to the Office view.

  3. Click Install Office in the upper lefthand corner.

  4. You will see the following popup:

  5. At the bottom of your screen, you will notice a file has been downloaded.
    PC

  6. Click Close to close the popup window.
  7. Double click on the file in at the bottom to begin installation then follow the instructions.  NOTE: Mac users may need to navigate to your Downloads folder to open the file.
Mobile Instructions
  1. Go to portal.office.com and sign in with your UTHSC email and password.
    *If your credentials are not recognized, you will need to change your NetID password and retry after 10 minutes.
  2. Click Install Office in the upper left hand corner.
  3. Click Get App to get the app for your device and follow the instructions for installation.
    *When asked to log in to the application, use your UTHSC NetID/password.
