Get Your ID Taken Before New Student Orientation
To help avoid long lines, if you are in Memphis two weeks before New Student Orientation, you will be given the opportunity to have your student ID picture taken at the UT Health Science Center Campus Police, located at 45 North Manassas [corner of Manassas and Court].
Two weeks before New Student Orientation begins is the only time you will be allowed to take your student ID picture early. [no exceptions] Sgt Beverly Avis will be available to take your student ID picture between 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., CDT, Monday through Friday. Sgt Avis will be provided with a list of those students who have been offered an acceptance.
If you are unable to take your student ID picture, two weeks before NSO week, you will have the opportunity the first day of NSO from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the lobby of the General Education Building corner of Madison and Dunlap. Your student ID picture will be given to you during NSO week. Should you have any questions regarding ID pictures, please contact Sgt Beverly Avis at 901-448-6705. Your photography will identify you throughout your years at medical school and you may wish to dress appropriately.
If your name has changed and you have not completed the name change on academic record form you will need to satisfy these changes before your name will be changed on your student identification badge. [no exceptions]
