Robert E. Gold, M.D.
Professor, Radiology & Urology
Dr. Robert Gold is the Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Radiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and is currently Professor of Radiology and Urology. He is an interventional radiologist with longstanding and pioneering expertise in angiography, vascular radiology and percutaneous renal access. Dr. Gold and Dr. Patterson lead a clinically active percutaneous and laparoscopic renal cryoablation program based at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. Dr. Gold also participates in the Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conference for the University Service.
Dr. Gold is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. He has also been awarded the Congress Award of the Canadian Association of Radiologists.
