Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is designed to provide free, confidential counseling to UTHSC employees and their eligible dependents. Employees and eligible dependents who are experiencing personal or workplace problems should contact Marian Harris, Compliance Coordinator, Office of Equity and Diversity, at 901.448.2112 or mharri26@uthsc.edu for assistance. Additionally, the state of Tennessee's EAP Program provides free short-term counseling and brief legal advice for regular employees who are scheduled to work at least 75% (30 hours per week) time. The spouse and dependent children of an employee in this category also qualify for the free benefit. UTHSC employees may also contact EAP directly by calling 1-855-437-3486 for assistance.
