Professional Schools' Considerations
TIP seeks to provide an assurance of admission to the professional schools of medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy. Participating colleges include The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, The College of Veterinary Medicine at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and The James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University.
It should be noted that students holding a conditional acceptance at both medical schools must declare which school they will attend prior to participation in Track III, but no later than May 15. Students should send written communication (letter or email) to the admissions office at both schools indicating their decision. Failure to do so will release the medical school from further obligation; thereby freeing the school to withdraw its offer of acceptance.
