Student Health Services is a division of University Health Services

University Health Services (UHS) offers professional and confidential services to the UTHSC students, faculty, staff, and their immediate family members (over 18 years old.) Patient Rights and Responsibilities

UHS is staffed with licensed, qualifed healthcare providers and certified professionals who collaborate to provide comprehensive healthcare.

Confidentiality

The UTHSC Student Health Services records are kept strictly confidential according to HIPAA guidelines. They are never part of the student’s academic record. All information about the student is confidential and cannot be released to any other office, individual, or parent without the student’s written consent.
