The research reform committee is a student led on campus organization that was formed to help better assist students in participating in research while in medical school.   Research in during medical school can be a very rewarding and important part of an overall medical education. The committee is working on the following goals:

  • Maintain an actively updated website listing all of the opportunities available to medical students
  • Develop student led Journal Clubs 
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration in developing poster forums, presentations, and ways to further develop research opportunities at UTHSC
  • Streamline research information for various departments into one centralized source for students
