Diagnostic Radiology Residency

6 residents per class
4-year ACGME-accredited program
Exceptional board passage rate

The Diagnostic Radiology residency is an advanced program in which residents must complete an initial training year in another specialty, typically either preliminary medicine, preliminary surgery, or transitional internship all of which are available at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Our five training facilities host a plentiful volume of cases utilizing cutting edge technology in each radiologic modality. The Memphis and surround tristate area serves a wide assortment of patient populations creating an excellent exposure to an extraordinary range of pathologies unequalled by many other radiology programs.

Memphis Radiological, PC, (MRPC) is the radiology group utilized by Methodist Healthcare and have taken the lead in overseeing the UTMethodist radiology program. Each facility has a designated staff representative that participates in the program governance.
