Protocols & Toolbox
MICU Protocols
The purpose of this site is to give the students, residents, fellows, and faculty of our institution a useful reference for the management of common problems in the intensive care unit.
It is our hope that standardized protocols will improve the quality of care in the ICU. Secondary benefits of standardization should be seen in terms of improvement in ICU mortality, morbidity, cost, and antibiotic use.
