Tablet Technology Course Co-Founder: Dr. Atul J. Shukla (1957-2009)
Dr. Atul Shukla was a professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, UTHSC. There are so many words to describe what a wonderful, caring, loving, selfless person Dr. Shukla was. He loved his family and friends, and he loved his UT family of colleagues and students.
His passion was teaching and working with his graduate students, and he continued to come to work at UT until he was simply too weak to do so. He was always there, whatever the need was for anyone at any time. He fought his battle with cancer with grace and dignity, and he so wanted to “beat it”, so he could continue doing all the things he loved about life.
