Rebecca Regen elected as the 2009-2010 APhA-ASP Region 3 Midyear Regional Meeting Coordinator


Rebecca Regen, a third year student pharmacist, was elected as the 2009-2010 American Pharmacists Association- Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) Region 3 Midyear Regional Meeting Coordinator (MRMC). As MRMC, Rebecca will work with the APhA staff to plan and implement activities to be held during the 2010 Midyear Regional Meeting (MRM), which will be in Memphis in the fall. Her main responsibilities include: planning the Friday evening social, coordinating the Regional Education Session, communicating with every APhA-ASP chapter in the region, fundraising, and contacting exhibitors for the MRM Expo.

Rebecca graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Agriculture in 2007. As a student at the UT College of Pharmacy, she has served as an APhA-ASP P1 Member-at-large, APhA-ASP Vice-President of Legislative Affairs, APhA-ASP Chapter Delegate, Tennessee Society of Student Pharmacists Delegate, and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity Chaplain and P3 Representative. Currently, Rebecca is serving as Class President of the Memphis campus. Rebecca is from Atoka, Tennessee, and she is the daughter of Kerry and Beth Regen, both 1981 graduates of the UT College of Pharmacy.
