Grayson Peek To Take Part In The Johns Hopkins Hospital Pharmacy Internship Program
Grayson Peek, first year student pharmacist, has been selected to take part in The Johns Hopkins Hospital Pharmacy Internship Program for the summer of 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland. The Pharmacy Internship Program was established in order to provide pharmacy students with a structured learning experience and exposure to Hospital and Health system pharmacy practice. This year's program has accepted 14 student pharmacists from outside of the state of Maryland to comprise a total of 25 pharmacy interns nationwide. He will spend the majority of his summer at The Johns Hopkins Hospital learning about a number of different practice settings devoted to medication use policy, distributive functions, technical proficiency, and clinical practice experience. Grayson born and raised in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and is the son of Tony and Lori Peek.
