Nashville Campus

The Nashville campus of the UT College of Pharmacy is located at the Polk Center in Nashville. Nashville offers students one of the most diverse training environments in the state by having strong partnerships with state government, federal healthcare facilities, Tennessee Pharmacists Association and health-systems in Nashville such as Hospital Corporation America, Community Health Systems, Saint Thomas Health Services, Vanderbilt and the VA Tennessee Valley Health System. The city and the surrounding area also host a wide variety of community practice sites, including many independent and chain pharmacies. Students also have the chance to receive experience at progressive companies such as Aegis Sciences Corporation. With 60+ post-graduate residencies in the area, students have multiple opportunities to continue their post-doctorate education in Nashville.

The campus is located near downtown Nashville and offers many chances for students to explore the “Music City”. As the home of country music, there is always someone performing. For sports fans, Nashville hosts the Nashville Predators and the Tennessee Titans. Between concerts, sporting events and everything in between; there is always entertainment in Nashville.

The UT College of Pharmacy provides tremendous learning, research, and clinical experiences for its students and staff through close working relationships with many health care institutions in Tennessee. To provide real-life opportunities for clinical and advanced professional training, we integrate our teaching, research, and service programs with those of sister colleges, hospitals and health facilities throughout the state.
